The only information this website asks you for is what you type into the enquiry form:

• Your name and email address, which the form requires so that we can reply.
• Your phone number, which is optional. You can leave it blank and we will reply by email.
• Your message — whatever you choose to tell us about your property and what you need.

Alongside that we record the page you sent the enquiry from and, where your browser provides it, the site you arrived from. We do not ask for, and have no use for, anything more than this.

Like any website, ours is served over the internet, so our hosting provider processes your IP address in order to deliver the page to you and to keep the service running. We do not use that information to build any profile of you.

We use your details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry, and — if you want us to go further — to arrange a survey and give you a quotation. We do not use them for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share them with anyone for their own purposes.

Our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us about our work (Article 6(1)(f)).

Your enquiry passes through a small number of service providers who act on our instructions. They are:

• Base44 — the platform this website and its enquiry records are hosted on.
• Scale Rule Consulting — the company that built and maintains this website. It can see enquiries in order to support the site and make sure they reach us.
• Resend — the service that delivers the notification email carrying your enquiry to our inbox.
• Our email provider — the mailbox your enquiry lands in and where our reply is sent from.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under the safeguards their own terms provide for international transfers.

Beyond those, we share your details with nobody. There are no advertising networks and no data brokers involved in this site. The hosting platform's own visit statistics are described under Cookies and browser storage below; they are not linked to your enquiry.

We keep an enquiry only for as long as we need it to deal with it, and to pick the conversation back up if you come back to us. We review the enquiries held by this website at least once a year and delete those that did not lead to work.

If we do carry out work for you, your details become part of our record of that job. We keep job records for six years after the work ends, which is the period we are required to keep business and tax records for, and for as long as your 15-year guarantee runs.

Enquiries our anti-spam checks flag as automated are kept so that a genuine message caught by mistake can still be found, and are deleted at the same yearly review.

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it;
• stop or limit what we do with it;
• send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable form.

Email info@longlifewallcoating.co.uk and tell us what you want. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

This website sets no cookies. There is no advertising pixel, no cross-site tracking and nothing that follows you anywhere else.

It does store a small number of values in your browser, all of them placed by the hosting platform rather than by us:

• Three values the site needs in order to work at all — which app to load, which version of it, and the page you arrived on.
• A randomly generated visit identifier used by the platform's built-in usage statistics, which count how many people visit the site and how long they stay. It is not tied to your name, your email address or any enquiry you send, it is not shared with advertisers, and it is not used to build a profile of you. It is, nonetheless, analytics, and we would rather say so plainly than leave it out.

If you would rather not have any of this stored, your browser's privacy settings will block it, and the site will still work.

Two things are loaded from other companies' servers when a page opens, and both involve your browser making a request that discloses your IP address to them:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) supplies the two typefaces this site is set in. Google receives the request for the font files, which includes your IP address, but no cookie is set by it and we receive nothing back about you.
• Base44's media service (media.base44.com) supplies the images on the site. It is part of the hosting platform described above.

If what we do with your data changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
