Preparation Is Everything
Great coating is nearly all about preparation — and because our product is built to last, we take that further than most. Here's how every job runs.
Inspect & repair
We go over the walls by hand, feeling out every crack, blown patch of render and bit of loose mortar that could undermine the finish — then put it all right. We do far more of this repair work than a typical builder or decorator, because we make sure the wall lasts as long as the coating.
Clean
There's no point painting over dirt, or worse, sealing something biological under the coating. We clean the surface back to a sound, stable base.
Mask & prime
We take our time protecting windows, plants and everything else that shouldn't be painted. Then we prime — different surfaces are primed differently, so everything bonds the way it should.
Apply
On large, well-prepped areas, spraying is fast and gives a beautifully uniform finish. But we're not spray-only — detailed areas call for other techniques. While we're on site we can also handle the extras: guttering, woodwork repair and painting. Because we're already there, it's often cheaper than bringing others in.
Finish & sign off
We leave everything neat and tidy, then walk the job with you and sign it off together — so if there's anything you're not happy with, we put it right on the spot.
